Ground-mounted system with potential capacity to meet all electrical needs of Grade II listed farm and buildings
Great Gutton is a charming Grade II* listed Devonshire farmhouse set in 21 acres of rolling countryside which provides self-catering cottage accommodation in the heart of rural Devon.
Sol Electrical Ltd oversaw the planning application for Great Gutton’s PV system and also liaised with Western Power regarding the necessary upgrades to connect to the Grid. The owners installed a biomass boiler at the same time as the PV array and SOL were able to synchronise the two systems, so that any unused electricity generated is diverted to heating water for the indoor swimming pool on site.
