Leading Exeter-based manufacturer turns roof space into income stream
An independent energy audit suggested that the most effective way of local manufacturer Van Guard reducing its £20,000 p/a electricity bill was to install roof-mounted solar PV. SOL was appointed to install a 50kW system using Solar Edge optimisation technology with SolarWorld modules. The project was completed within the agreed timescale and with minimal disruption to the business’s day-to-day operations. The company’s directors can expect the system to pay for itself within 5 years.
